Chicken Inasal is a popular Filipino version of chicken barbeque. It originated from Bacolod, the sugar capital of the Philippines. Its smoked, aromatic flavor and savory taste make it one of the country’s most eaten chicken dishes.
The dish requires simple and easy cooking preparations to acquire its flavorful and distinctive taste. The chicken meat is marinated with various spices and flavorings like garlic, pepper, vinegar, soy sauce, calamansi (a local citrus fruit), and lemon grass -- for that extra citrus flavor.
