We’re always mindful of our travel items whenever we travel for our vacations; but oftentimes there will be one or two items that seem to just disappear, either discovered several days after returning back home from the trip or even truly lost to the great unknown forever. These items are usually small things like jewelry, charging wires and the like. There always seems to be a small chance you might lose these items on every adventure you take.
But worry not, because we have a few helpful tips that will ensure your precious little valuables will stick with you from the beginning of your journey all the way to the end:

Jewelry
If you’re planning to dress fancy during your travels or just love to accessorize your outfits, it can be rough trying to keep track of your shiny baubles and favorite outfit enhancers. Purchase a “weekly” pill box with multiple tiny compartments so you can keep your favorite fashion objects like dainty necklaces and small earrings. For bracelets and watches, get a small zippered cloth pouch.

Keys
Some hotels report that house keys are one of the biggest things some guests leave behind on their travels. Imagine flying back home, jet-lagged and ready to collapse on your bed but then finding out you couldn’t even get into your home. Since you won’t be using your home key for the entire trip, look for a keychain that has a small hook or clasp that you can attach to your luggage bag.

Cellphones
You may be surprised that cellphones can be lost simply by forgetting that they were left on a counter or a table. These cases are often also the result of impatience or rushing a trip, being too preoccupied with travel-related thoughts and concerns which cause them to lose the item in question. Other times, though, it can be the work of pickpockets. In cases like this, always have a small bag (a belt bag or shoulder bag) with you where you can keep it in and wear securely around your body.

Sunglasses
Your favorite pair of light-reflecting eyewear is also one of the top items you can accidentally lose during your journeys. Sometimes they’ll be buried under your clothes or left in forgettable places as you rush into the pool or the seaside for some sunny fun. Always arrange your towels and clothes properly with the sunglasses on top before running to the water. If you’re wearing it while you travel, be sure to hang it on your shirt collar so it will always be on you no matter where you go.

Chargers/wires
It can be annoying to lose certain charging implements such as adapters, charging wires, power banks, and maybe even certain USB-compatible attachments. You can avoid losing them simply by keeping them all in one handy little container or pouch instead of leaving everything jumbled up in your bag or leaving them around the hotel or resort room to be potentially forgotten or lost.

Now that you’ve got these handy little tips to remember, you probably won’t have too much trouble losing these small yet important items anymore the next time you go traveling. Just keep organized during your journey and you’ll be surprised how easy it can be to keep track of everything.
