Mango Tours was a proud sponsor of this year's Pistahan Parade & Festival held in San Francisco, CA on Aug 12-13, 2017. Now on its 24th year, this momentous event was bigger than ever and remained one of the largest and most important celebrations of Filipino culture in the U.S.
This 2-day event started with a fun parade along the streets of San Francisco, from Civic Center to Market Street, where parade participants dressed in colorful costumes and danced to lively music.

Unique and eye-catching floats entertained the people while headline artists waved and smiled at the cheerful crowd.

Community leaders and members marched on with real Filipino pride.
Apart from the colorful and exciting parade, the festival featured seven pavilions at the Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco, which included Art, Innovation, Culinary, Dance, Sports, Health, and Leadership which circled around the exploration and discovery of the Filipino culture.

Festival-goers got to witness and enjoy a variety of fun and engaging activities, from the amazing performances by local and talented artists, including singers, dancers, and Filipino celebrities, to interesting products offered by participating vendors like Mango Tours and Philippine Airlines.

Mango Tours was honored to be a part of this event which gives the Filipino-Americans the opportunity to celebrate together and learn about the richness of their culture, and most importantly to express their love and support for the community. According to Al Perez, Pistahan's lead organizer and President of the Filipino Arts and Exposition, “I am so proud to be a part of the Pistahan because it is a true embodiment of the Filipino Bayanihan spirit."
