Travel in Frame: Sandboarding

The Philippines is mostly islands and beaches and offers loads of outdoor fun! Ilocos Norte, a province in the Ilocandia Region located at the northwest corner of Luzon island, isn't just known for its vibrant culture and heritage, but its spectacular geographic landmarks as well! And since this tropical country has got a lot of sand (and not snow, sorry), one exciting thing to try is sandboarding at the La Paz Sand Dunes.

Hop on a sandboard (or sit on it) and get comfy with the feeling before glide down the sand-covered hills! You'll probably fall the first time but that's fine! Climbing back up to the start point could be quite a challenge (and an exercise too).

Being able to keep your balance until reaching the foot of the sandy hill is truly an adrenaline rush and a rewarding experience that will leave you wanting to do it over and over again. And remember, there's no fun without falling once in a while.
