July 2017, Manila, Philippines - Mango Tours once again participated in the recent 6th Travel Madness Expo 2017 held last July 7-9, 2017 at the SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Manila. The three-day event is one of the country’s biggest annual travel exhibits which showcased travel agencies, international and Philippine-based airlines, and leading hotel and resorts.
This year, Mango Tours focused on promoting cruises and international travel packages particularly to Korea and Taiwan. And among its promotional efforts was an interactive guessing game.
The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) credit card holders were invited for an exclusive event a day prior to the official opening. Being one of the event’s major sponsors, the loyal customers under the bank had access to all the great deals and packages before anybody else.
Some of Mango Tours’ partner airlines – Philippine AirlinesChina AirlinesAsiana AirlineEva Air, and Air China were also exhibitors at the said event, promoting affordable fares.

Different destinations also had their specific displays and districts such as the Taiwan, Japanese and Korean booths, which were some of the most distinct ones on the floor for their little stalls and prizes.

International tourism organizations like the event’s co-sponsor Taiwan Tourism Bureau had exciting activities for the guests. Performances and other guest interaction were held creating culture awareness.
There were stage shows like swordplay demonstrations by a real-life samurai, performers who did tricks on stringed toys called diabolo, and even a comedy act from the representatives of the Land of the Rising Sun.

The annual travel expo’s roster of major sponsors included the country’s flagship carrier Philippine Airlines, Philippine Star, PLDT Enterprise, and the SMX Convention Center Manila, while co-sponsored by Duty Free Philippines, Taiwan Tourism Bureau, and Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) and powered by Sabre. The Expat Travel & Lifestyle Magazine and Travel Now were the participating media partners.
