Tasty Travels: Indian Curry

Creamy, spicy, and a well-known Indian dish, curry is a delicious treat that can be enjoyed all on its own or with rice or naan bread. The thickness, level of spiciness, and contents of the curry itself may vary depending on where the type of curry originated, so don’t expect all curry is made equal.
The ingredients for one of the most basic curry dishes, Chicken Curry, simply includes chicken pieces (skin removed), vegetable/sunflower/canola oil, diced tomatoes, thinly sliced onions, garlic and ginger paste, cumin, turmeric, coriander, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and water. Chopped coriander can also be added once everything is cooked as a tasty garnishing.
The platter used for this dish is often bowl-like to avoid spilling the contents. Rice or a flatbread is often included and must be eaten with the curry. When was the last time you enjoyed a delicious bowl-plate of tasty curry? Tell us all about it!
